Joo Min-kyu, the best striker in the K-League, will start a new season at Hana Citizen in Daejeon.
Daejeon announced Tuesday that it will recruit Joo Min-gyu. Since his debut with Goyang Hi FC in 2013, Joo has worked as Seoul E-Land FC and Sangju Sangmu before moving to Ulsan Hyundai (currently Ulsan HD) in 2019.
In 2020, he moved to Jeju United and led the K League 2 championship and promotion to the first division, and returned to Ulsan in 2023 to win the top scorer and the K League Best 11.
With 92 goals and 25 assists in a total of 211 matches in the K League 1, Joo was the top scorer in the 2021 and 2023 seasons. In the K League 2, he played in 145 matches, scoring 52 points and 14 assists.
Joo Min-kyu said, "The support was so passionate that many fans said it was a special soccer city, and I felt that each and every one of them was sincere, so the fans influenced the decision of this team. I will make a good body in winter training so that I can repay the good performance I expect. Please give me a lot of support." 먹튀검증
